Mark Klein
CoFounder & CEO
Mark Klein is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ALTA Energy, where he leads the company's strategic vision and execution of resilient, distributed energy solutions.
From 2019 to 2024, Mark served as Founder & Chief Development Officer of Broad Reach Power, driving all renewable and standalone energy storage development across Texas, California, MISO and the Mountain West. Under his leadership, Broad Reach Power deployed 15 standalone storage assets (9.95 MWh each) in its first year and built one of North America's largest pipelines—over 10 GW in Texas, 8 GW in California, 1 GW in MISO and 3.5 GW in the Mountain West—culminating in a $1.6 billion acquisition by Engie in January 2024. In addition to his role at ALTA, Mark serves on the board of Good Peak Holdings LLC, where he advises on clean-energy project development and investment.
